if 10 days from today is 07 May 2024, a Tuesday. Calculating if 10 days from today takes us beyond a simple week, making the process slightly more intricate. Since today is Saturday, the calculation could be adjusted for work days. But If you just want the overall days, nothing will change. For an 10-day span, we’ll now cross over a week, and candidly, I usually care about work days so I would account for them. Moving forward by over a week from April means we also navigate closer to May, as we’re still in the early part of this month.

This calculation does not factor in workdays or holidays (see below!).
Use April's calendar: Begin by identifying on a calendar, note that it’s Tuesday, and the total days in May (trust me, you’ll need this for smaller calculations) and days until next year (double trust me, you'll need this for larger calculations). From there, count forward 10 times by days, adding days from 27 Apr.
Use Excel: Regardless of unit type, I use day calculations here. Type =TODAY()+10 into the cell. If you want to add weeks, multiply your day by 7 and months/years will take their own calculation due to the changing days of the week.
