Since today is Thursday, we'll have to adjust for the weekend, if you care about the number of work days.. I usually just count days of the week. Additionally, we’re 29 days from the end of April, so being in the early part of of the month, 6 days will remain in April and we don’t need to worry about adjusting months or years..

Use April's calendar: Begin by identifying on a calendar, note that it’s Wednesday, and the total days in May (trust me, you’ll need this for smaller calculations) and days until next year (double trust me, you'll need this for larger calculations). From there, count forward 6 times by days, adding days from 25 Apr.
