60 months from today is 12 Jul 2030, a Friday. Adding 60 months in the future is usually just counting from July; however, longer calculations will push us from 2025 into 2026. Even if the calculation remains within the year, I usually take note of the 19 days left in the middle of July, to prep for left over days or weeks in the calculation.

How we calculated 60 months from today

All of our day calculators are measured and QA'd by our engineer. Read more about the Git process here. But here's how adding 60 months to today's date gets calculated on each visit:

  • Started with date inputs: starting point: 12 Jul, Units to add: 60 months, and year: 2025
  • Noted your current time of year: 19 days in middle of July
  • Added 60 months from current day: 12 Jul, factoring in there are 19 days left in before August
  • Did NOT factor in workdays: In this calculation, we kept weekend. See below for just workdays or the 2025 fiscal calendar.

Tips to get your solution: July 12

Friday Friday July 12, 2030 is the 193 day of the year or 52.88% through 2030.

  • Current date: 12 Jul
  • Day of the week: Friday
  • New Date: Friday July 12, 2030
  • New Date Day of the week: Friday
  • Counting dates from July might put you in the fall. Remember, July is a big vacation month so you might need to factor in vacation time in your calculation.
  • The solution crosses into a different year..
  • Your date will be a weekend. Consider if you only want workdays in your calculation. Your date will be a weekend. Consider if you only want workdays in your calculation.

Ways to calculate 60 months from today

  1. Just calculate it: Start with a time from today calculator. 60 months is easiest solved on a calculator. For ours, we've already factored in the days in + all number of days in each month and the number of days in 2025. Simply add your months and choose the length of time, then click "calculate". This calculation does not factor in workdays or holidays (see below!).
  2. Use July's calendar: Begin by identifying on a calendar, note that it’s Friday, and the total days in August (trust me, you’ll need this for smaller calculations) and days until next year (double trust me, you'll need this for larger calculations). From there, count forward 60 times by months, adding months from 12 Jul.
  3. Use Excel: Regardless of unit type, I use day calculations here. Type =TODAY()+60 into the cell. If you want to add weeks, multiply your day by 7 and months/years will take their own calculation due to the changing days of the week. To find 60 months workdays, convert to days but use =WORKDAY(TODAY(), [number of days], [holidays]) into the cell. [number of days] is how many working days you want to add, and [holidays] is an optional range of cells that contain dates of holidays to exclude.

60 working months from today

60 months is Friday July 12, 2030 or could be Saturday August 28, 2032 if you only want workdays. This calculation takes 60 months and only adds by the number of workdays in a week. Remember, removing the weekend from our calculation will drastically change our original Friday July 12, 2030 date.
