Monday March 10, 2025

26 days from today is 10 Mar 2025, a Monday. Calculations getting closer to a full month, introduces multiple weekends, and 28 days of February become large factors including the day of the week. Since today is Wendesday, we'll actually need to start considering the weekend. Two days from now the weekend begins and it could throw off our calculation if we consider work days. We now must add several weekends and, 26 days moves us from the middle of February to potentially crossing into March. I personally care about counting work days so if 26 days from now will need to be readjusted for a fiscal calendar (don’t worry, I calculate it below).

How we calculated 26 days from today

All of our day calculators are measured and QA'd by our engineer. Read more about the Git process here. But here's how adding 26 days to today's date gets calculated on each visit:

  • Started with date inputs: starting point: 12 Feb, Units to add: 26 days, and year: 2025
  • Noted your current time of year: 16 days in middle of February
  • Added 26 days from current day: 12 Feb, factoring in there are 16 days left in before March
  • Did NOT factor in workdays: In this calculation, we kept weekend. See below for just workdays or the 2025 fiscal calendar.

Tips to get your solution: March 10

Monday Monday March 10, 2025 is the 069 day of the year or 18.9% through 2025.

  • Current date: 12 Feb
  • Day of the week: Monday
  • New Date: Monday March 10, 2025
  • New Date Day of the week: Monday
  • February could have 28 or 29 days depending on Leap Year.
  • This calculation crosses at least one month. Remeber, this will change our day of the week.

Ways to calculate 26 days from today

  1. Just calculate it: Start with a time from today calculator. 26 days is easiest solved on a calculator. For ours, we've already factored in the days in + all number of days in each month and the number of days in 2025. Simply add your days and choose the length of time, then click "calculate". This calculation does not factor in workdays or holidays (see below!).
  2. Use February's calendar: Begin by identifying on a calendar, note that it’s Monday, and the total days in March (trust me, you’ll need this for smaller calculations) and days until next year (double trust me, you'll need this for larger calculations). From there, count forward 26 times by days, adding days from 12 Feb.
  3. Use Excel: Regardless of unit type, I use day calculations here. Type =TODAY()+26 into the cell. If you want to add weeks, multiply your day by 7 and months/years will take their own calculation due to the changing days of the week. To find 26 days workdays, convert to days but use =WORKDAY(TODAY(), [number of days], [holidays]) into the cell. [number of days] is how many working days you want to add, and [holidays] is an optional range of cells that contain dates of holidays to exclude.

26 working days from today

26 days is Monday March 10, 2025 or could be Thursday March 20, 2025 if you only want workdays. This calculation takes 26 days and only adds by the number of workdays in a week. Remember, removing the weekend from our calculation will drastically change our original Monday March 10, 2025 date.
