3 weeks ago from today was 17 Apr 2024, a Wednesday. Week conversions under a month are not too complicated. We’re often okay with just counting weeks backwards from Wednesday. However, we’re 8 days from the end of May, and being in the middle of of the month, looking back less than a week will keep us in May and we don’t need to worry about adjusting months or years.

Use May's calendar: Begin by identifying 08 May on a calendar, note that it’s Wednesday, and the total days in April (trust me, you’ll need this for smaller calculations) and days until last year (double trust me, you'll need this for larger calculations). From there, count backwards 3 times weeks by weeks, subtracting weeks from until your remainder of weeks is 0.
